ASSUR.AI
Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information ASSUR.AI collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by ASSUR.AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17150293, whose registered office is at 19-20 Great Pulteney Street, London, W1F 9NF.
ASSUR.AI Ltd is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Its data is governed and managed on its behalf by MehdiWard UK LLP, which acts as its processor and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number Z8514915.
If you have any question about this policy or how we use your information, email us at info@assur.ai, call +44 (0)20 8351 2021, or write to us at the address above.
What we collect when you register your interest
When you complete the form to register your interest in founding membership, we ask for:
- your first and last name
- the name of your organisation
- your work email address
- confirmation that you agree to us using these details for this purpose
We use them to respond to your registration, to send you details of the founding-member offer, and to keep a record of your interest. We do so on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@assur.ai, and we will stop using your details for this purpose.
We will not send you general marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and when you unsubscribe we stop.
What we collect when you visit the website
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, which website referred a visitor, and the visitor’s country, browser, operating system and type of device. It does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. It counts visits in aggregate and is not used to identify you or follow you across other websites. We also count some actions on the website in the same anonymous way. This is a form of cookieless tracking and the count never reveals what you type into the form. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.
Like every website, ours is delivered by servers that process technical information such as your IP address in order to send you the page and to protect the service against abuse. Our hosting provider keeps these server logs for a short period and they are not used to identify you.
If a form submission cannot be delivered to us because of a technical fault, the details you entered are held temporarily in our hosting provider’s access-controlled logs so that your enquiry is not lost, and are retrieved from there by our team.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device. This website does not set any cookies, and our analytics work without them, so there is nothing for you to accept or decline.
If we introduce cookies in future, we will update this policy first, and we will ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the website to work.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this website and our business, who act on our instructions and are bound to protect it:
- MehdiWard UK LLP, which governs and manages our data on our behalf
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the website and provides its analytics
- Microsoft, which provides our email and the customer relationship system in which we keep enquiries
- Mimecast, which provides the security service for our email
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to a buyer if all or part of our business is sold, in which case your information would continue to be protected in line with this policy.
International transfers
Some of these providers process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.
How long we keep your information
We keep the details you give us when you register your interest for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a member, in which case your membership terms will explain how your information is held. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@assur.ai. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we use personal information changes. The date below shows when it was last revised.
